DAMA/LXe results on the Dark Matter particles

1996 - Counting rate measured by the detector filled with 2 liters of Kr-free liquid Xenon enriched in 129Xe at 99.95%: a) Experimental energy distribution for 633.75 kg x day; b) the same data after subtraction of the background contribution estimated by gaseous-Xenon measurements.
First limits on Dark Matter particles - nucleus elastic scattering have been derived for a single simplified model just for purely spin-independent and purely spin-dependent couplings, as well as some other preliminary studies.

1998 - Counting rate measured by the upgraded detector filled with 2 liters of Kr-free liquid Xenon enriched in 129Xe at 99.95% (points). The histogram is the result obtained when applying to the same data the pulse shape rejection procedure between gamma or electrons and e.g. alpha particles or recoiling nuclei. The performances of such a capability in the low energy range, which can be of interest for the WIMP class of candidates, have been measured at sea level with the devoted 40 cc set-up (see elsewhere).
Improved limits on Dark Matter paticles - nucleus elastic scattering, with particular regards to the WIMP class of candidates, have been derived for a single simplified model both for SI and SD couplings.
