About the Workshop

In the framework of the EC-RTN "Superstring Theory" network, a Workshop will be held in the countryside of Tuscany, in the Casa Bianca complex, near Asciano, in the Chiana valley, from April 8 to April 12, 2003.

The Workshop can be attended by about 70 participants, and is also partly supported by INFN, by the INTAS Contract 99-1-590, by the MURST-COFIN Contract 2001-025492, by the University of Rome ``Tor Vergata'' and by the NATO Contract PST.CLG.978785. The deadline for registration is March 1, 2003, and there will be a 100 Euro Conference Fee.

Each day will begin with a review talk of 90 minutes devoted to a topic of current interest in our field, and there will be 20 additional research talks of 45 minutes. A free afternoon will allow a tour to some interesting sites in the area. (Review and research) speakers will include some external guests, in addition to senior participants and Post-Docs from our EC-RTN Network.

Group transportation will be arranged on Tuesday April 8 from Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport to the Workshop site and on Sunday April 13 back to Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport.
